About Garrett:

I didn’t start playing golf until I was 13; my family always lived on or near a golf course so it was easy for me to go out after school and practice.  We moved around a lot growing up so I always had to prove my golf game when entering a new school…little did I know that it would prepare me for my future!  I did pretty good playing High School golf and was able to earn a scholarship to attend East Tennessee State University.  I became a 3 time All American at ETSU during the 4 years I was there.   I knew pretty early on in College that I wanted to play golf for a living.  I turned pro immediately after finishing college.  I entered a Hooters tour event and won, it was my 1st event as a professional golfer that was the summer of 1996.  I made it to the Nike Tour the following year after going to PGA Tour School Finals I competed on the Mini Tours for 4 years until earning my 2001 PGA Tour card.  My first event on the Big Tour was the Touchstone Energy Tucson Open and I won it!   In 2005 I won the Envirocare Utah Open on the Nationwide Tour.  The last several years I have split my schedule between the Nationwide Tour and PGA Tour.  In my free time I enjoy watching a lot of recorded TV, eating my wife’s cooking, an occasional Video Game and Fishing.
